Lucie Castagne

Lucie graduated summa cum laude from Bryant University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Information Technology, while serving as Captain of the Division I women’s basketball team. During her undergraduate studies, she founded a student research association driven by a passion for breakthrough innovation through interdisciplinary collaboration, and worked as a research assistant within the university’s Financial Data Center, where she helped develop a gender‑lens investment strategy.

She went on to compete in the Big XII Conference at UCF, earning a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, continuing her academic focus on the interconnectedness of finance, technology, and science. After graduating in August 2025, Lucie joined a financial advisory team at Janney Montgomery Scott, where she earned her Series 7, further strengthening her expertise at the intersection of finance and advisory work.

Throughout her academic career, Lucie sought a global perspective—working across three different countries, completing a FinTech summer program at HEC Paris, and interning in Spain during her sophomore year. Alongside this international experience, she balanced three jobs, Division I athletics, and a 4.0 GPA while completing two degrees.

Lucie transitioned into quantitative research recruitment for its unique blend of intellectual challenge and relationship‑building. Her work sits at the intersection of research, market intelligence, and people, connecting elite talent with firms pushing the boundaries of quantitative innovation.

Outside of work, she is deeply invested in performance and personal development. A competitive athlete and fitness instructor, Lucie is also a mentor‑entrepreneur supporting professional athletes through career transitions—bringing the same discipline, resilience, and intensity from sport into business and life.
